Hello NAPUS Family. This was my second year to go to the NAPUS Leadership Conference in Washington DC.  What a great experience!!  Since we had less then 20 from the great state of Oklahoma, many of you missed OUT!  From hearing the Postmaster General and Deputy Postmaster General to touring the Capital to meeting with several of our Congressmen and Representatives and letting them know where we stand on very important upcoming topics, our time was well spent.  As your Service Representative, I was able to attend  classes informing me about all the MANY programs our wonderful NAPUS Federal Credit Union has to offer.  Is everyone as POOPED as I am after Legislative Conference in DC!! What a wonderful (usually busy) time of the year!

Which brings me to the NEXT big event you should be planning on attending.....our National Convention in Anchorage in September.  You will definitely want to stop by the Service Rep table and see me - - our great Credit Union has the BEST rates on loans for everything from buying ANYTHING to having spending money for the National Convention in Alaska this September.  I also learned that while other financial institutions are having difficulties and asking for "bailouts" from the government, our credit union is STRONGER THAN EVER!

I have so much to be thankful for! One thing that I’m not usually thankful for…until I need it is Insurance. INSURANCE: the necessary evil surrounding all our lives. Okay, so that’s MY definition, however, it is something we all NEED. One of the companies that NAPUS supports is Liberty Mutual through Mass Benefits. They have several policies for any type of insurance for your autos, home and any other "toys" you might have.
